Master Junghwan Kim is the founder and Head Instructor of Top Kick Martial Arts, bringing decades of martial arts expertise and a passion for teaching students of all ages. With a background as a member of the prestigious Yong-in University Demonstration Team and the Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters) Demonstration Team, Master Kim has demonstrated his commitment to excellence in Taekwondo at the highest levels. His journey has taken him around the world, including serving as Head Coach of the National Demonstration Team of Sri Lanka through KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) from 2005 to 2008, where he shared his knowledge and passion for Taekwondo with students internationally. Master Kim believes that Taekwondo is more than just physical training—it is a tool for building character, confidence, discipline, and respect. His teaching philosophy emphasizes proper fundamentals, mental strength, and the core values that help students succeed both in martial arts and in life. At Top Kick Martial Arts, Master Kim creates a positive and supportive environment where students are encouraged to push their limits, develop strong values, and grow into confident, well-rounded individuals.

We offer classes for all ages, from young children to adults. Our programs are tailored to different skill levels and goals.
No prior experience is required! We welcome beginners as well as experienced martial artists looking to refine their skills.
Comfortable athletic wear is fine for your first class. If you decide to continue, we'll guide you on getting a uniform and gear.
We recommend attending at least two classes per week for steady improvement, but you can train more frequently based on your goals.
We go beyond physical training to focus on building strong character. Our program is rooted in the values of loyalty, discipline, and perseverance helping students grow into confident, respectful individuals both on and off the mat.
